Injury Assessment

Infinity Institute believes an injury that causes pain and loss of function needs immediate medical attention. Research has shown that typically, the longer one waits for therapeutic intervention, the longer it takes to recover.

Infinity Institute is not a Medical Emergency facility. If an injury has caused severe pain, loss of movement, deformity, bleeding, dizziness, numbness and or tingling you should go to the emergency room or call 911 for help.

Infinity Institute’s scope of practice is for typical sprains, strains, soft tissue contusions, bracing and to educate. If we feel you need further evaluation, we will certainly advise you to the appropriate medical team.

The body is a wonderful machine; it can be built, broken and fixed, and heal itself. The body is exposed to trauma every day through different activities, work, and the sports we participate in. The healing process cannot be rushed; however, it can be assisted by giving the most optimum environment for healing to take place through therapeutic intervention. After an injury, pain and loss of function occur.  Immediate symptom and stress modification must be implemented to give the optimum-healing environment needed for an expedient recovery.

Infinity Institute offers this type of professional intervention by a licensed physical therapist that specializes in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine so you can return to activities of daily living, work and sports activities symptom-free and safely. We do not need a prescription to perform these services, unless it is required by your insurance company.
